John has a reputation for addressing burning issues and highlighting emerging opportunities. His unique insight assists maritime decision makers, from upgrading in-service systems to procurement of next generation vessels. 30 years in professional sector consultancy, training and strategic product development has given him plenty of expertise to call on. He has worked in UK, EU, US and Canada with over 100 maritime organisations including commercial operators, military, border force, SAR, police, coastguard, designers, boat builders, technology OEMs, ports, legislators.
Speed@Seawork, which will be held on Monday 12 June, is a fast boat event targeted at users (attachés, military, coast guard, SAR, and emergency services etc), builders, and equipment suppliers. The day starts with a short voyage over to the Isle of Wight, UK, with breakfast and presentations on fast boat activities, recent contracts, future developments and opportunities. Attendees have the opportunity to go out on sea boat trials in the varied sea states of the Solent. There will be expert presentations over lunch, followed by further sea trials and the day ending with networking, drinks and canapes on the return trip to Southampton.
