Willem van der Wel joined Windcat over 10 years ago and has been involved in all aspects of the Windcat business from newbuilds to operational management as well as the chartering side of the business as Windcat’s Business Development Manager.
Willem has since taken the helm from the founders of Windcat Workboats, becoming Managing Director in 2019, and is now highly involved in the design, build and certification process of the vessels as well as the development of potential hydrogen infrastructures following the acquisition of Windcat Workboats in 2020 by Compagnie Maritime Belge, partner in developing the Hydrogen Dual Fuel CTV.
