The Cardboard Boat Regatta will return to Seawork in 2027, once again challenging teams to build, launch and race a boat made from cardboard, tape and pure determination.

In 2026, crews were invited to “Sail for the Cup!” Inspired by the world’s greatest football tournament, The World Cup. Teams brought nations, favourite teams and the beautiful game to the water racing for glory while trying to stay afloat.
