Strategic partners head for GreenPort
Mercator Media, the organiser of Seawork, has become a strategic industry partner with Maritime Solent ahead of the 21st edition of the GreenPort Congress, to be held 7–9 October 2026 in Portsmouth, UK.

GreenPort Congress will be one of the first events to feature the new partnership. Ports are committing to electrification, but many are now hitting the same barrier: the commercial and operational reality is harder, slower, and more expensive than expected. GreenPort Congress session “Energy, electrification and net zero delivery in ports” focuses on what ports and operators are actually doing now to implement electrification and what is proving difficult in practice.
Commenting on the forthcoming GreenPort Congress, Stuart added, “This event provides an important platform for bringing together industry leaders, ports, technology providers and policymakers to address the challenges and opportunities of decarbonisation.
