Future Seawork is your opportunity to launch your innovation onto the commercial marine stage.
If you’re developing a breakthrough idea with real commercial potential, this is your chance to take your university project beyond the classroom and showcase it at Seawork in front of industry leaders, investors, and global professionals.
Who can enter?
Future Seawork is open to current UK university students and your project must:
- Demonstrate strong commercial potential or be close to market-ready
- Be relevant to the commercial marine sector

Projects are judged solely on their commercial potential.

- Showcase their innovation live at Seawork (15–17 June 2027)
- Exhibit in front of industry leaders, investors, and global marine professional

- Gain industry recognition at the Seawork Awards ceremony
The Seawork Awards take place at 17:30 on Tuesday 15 June 2027, a key moment in the exhibition attended by senior figures from across the sector.
Key dates:
- Application deadline: 30 April 2027
- Winners notified: 10 May 2027
- Exhibition dates: 15–17 June 2027
Judging panel members may visit your stand on the morning of 15 June for further discussion if required.
