TRAINING & CAREERS DAY - THURSDAY 11 JUNE 2026
Working with Maritime Solent and designed to align with the Gatsby Benchmarks for Good Career Guidance, the Seawork Training and Careers Day provides young people with valuable opportunities to explore careers, gain insights into the labour market, and connect with employers and professionals in the commercial marine sector.
Parties of students and young people (aged 13+) from local schools, colleges, training centres and universities tour the exhibition and marina and attend the two dedicated events.
Careers Fair The Careers Fair, located next to the Maritime Training and Careers Pavilion, hosts over 20 careers specialists from a variety of exhibiting companies in this attractive, multifaceted sector, offering advice, information, literature and giveaways.
Students have the unique chance to talk to professionals and trainees who are currently working in the industry, getting a personal insight into the companies and the work opportunities on offer.
