Living Seawalls is a flagship programme of the Sydney Institute of Marine Science in collaboration with Reef Design Lab. It designs and produces innovative modular panels which mimic foreshore and inter-tidal habits to revive the increasingly ‘urbanised’ oceans as construction ventures ever further into the sea.

Working internationally with three offices; Banagher in Ireland, Lossiemouth in Scotland and Southampton, England, Inland and Coastal Marina Systems’ projects span from leisure marina pontoons to commercial concrete breakwaters and crew transfer vessel berths, supporting the offshore and renewables sector. The state-of-the-art, bespoke systems are designed to enable vessels of all shapes and sizes to moor safely and securely. Experienced in working on projects with multiple stakeholders, clients include local and regional government, port and fishery authorities, marina operators, sports and recreational clubs, development consortiums, consulting engineers, architects and main contractors.
