Speed@Seawork, held in partnership with SMI (Society of Maritime Industries), offers an international field of delegates from the defence and specialist sectors the opportunity to participate in sea-trials, enjoy fast manoeuvres and equipment demonstrations, as well as watching keynote presentations from Procurement and MOD personnel.

The ceremony is held in Seawork’s spectacular Waterfront restaurant, sponsored by Siemens Financial Services, overlooking the Seawork Marina. Following welcome drinks and canapes, the evening will see the presentation of the coveted Seawork Innovation Awards.

Cardboard Boat Regatta

The regatta event includes live music, bar & food on the quayside on Wednesday 10 June from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

This year's theme is The World Cup.

Maritime Training & Careers Day

Seawork has partnered with Maritime Solent again to deliver an exciting careers event on the final day of Seawork. Students and young people aged 13 upwards from local schools / colleges / training centres / universities visit to see first-hand what a job in the commercial marine industry could look like and to gain some valuable insight on the opportunities available. Students will attend two dedicated careers events and can then tour the exhibition.
