Norcom Technology Limited, established in 1986, is a company specialising in the development of applications for navigation and hydrographic survey.

Norcom will be demonstrating Pandora its new simple to use and cost effective Hydrographic Survey application for use in ports and harbours. It can connect to a GPS and single beam echosounder, It will show how charts can be created quickly and accurately from the acquired data using its Chart CreatorApplication. These charts can be printed or save as a PDF document.

Norcom will also be displaying the latest version of SeaTrak its well established Electronic Charting software. As well as an online navigation application it will show how it can be configured as an AIS monitoring system with warning messages transmitted to mobile phones. The system is widely used by North Sea Pilots, companies working in offshore energy Sector. and others requiring access to electronic charts. The system uses official data supplied by the UK Hydrographic Office and other international hydrographic offices.

Norcom can supply unencrypted electronic GeoTiff charts for GIS.
