About
Pomerania (Pomorskie) is one of the fastest growing regions in Poland and in Europe. Tricity (consisting of three cities, namely Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot) was ranked in the top 5 for FDI Strategy for mid- and small sized cities and FDI Strategy – Rising Cities in the fDi Global Cities of the Future 2021/2022 rankings. The cities were rated for economic potential, business friendliness, human capital and lifestyle, connectivity and cost effectiveness.
Pomerania is also known for the activities of Lech Wałęsa, who led to the victory of democracy in Poland and democratic changes in Eastern Europe.

4Ocean Design provides engineering and consultancy services supporting shipowners, operators and technology providers in planning and delivering vessel modifications and conversions. Our core focus is on retrofit projects, including deck equipment upgrades and integration of onboard systems. We deliver feasibility studies, onboard data collection, concept and basic design, class-compliant documentation and detailed engineering to support safe and efficient implementation. The team has experience across offshore, workboats, research vessels and special-purpose ships, covering installations such as cranes, moon pools, winches and alternative propulsion systems. We help clients reduce technical risk, optimise arrangements and solve integration challenges, ensuring smooth execution from initial concept through to shipyard delivery and as-built documentation.
