Racing into 2024 – Speed@Seawork
Speed@Seawork 2024, the sector-specific feature of Seawork, Europe’s leading commercial marine exhibition, is to be hosted by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) in Cowes, UK on Monday 10 June 2024.
Offering knowledge sharing, networking, exhibiting, sponsorship and demonstration opportunities, Speed@Seawork focusses on the fast vessels, and associated equipment, that operate at high speed in the field of security intervention and Search And Rescue.
Held in partnership with SMI (Society of Marine Industries), Speed@Seawork 2023 saw an international field of delegates from the defence and specialist sectors take the opportunity to participate in sea-trials, enjoy fast manoeuvre and equipment demonstrations, and keynote presentations from Procurement and MOD personnel.
Joe Hall, Head of Operations at RORC, said, “The Royal Ocean Racing Club is well versed in the importance of design, speed and performance; being at the forefront of international offshore racing. We are therefore delighted to be hosting the 2024 Speed at Seawork’s event from our new Clubhouse facilities on Castle Hill, Cowes. Just minutes away from the berthing at Trinity Landing and with views across the Solent, the Clubhouse will provide the perfect base for this prestigious and important event.”
