The 2025 Seawork Awards winners have been crowned during a packed ceremony held in the Waterfront restaurant on the evening of the opening day of Seawork. The Seawork Awards celebrate the outstanding individuals and innovative companies that comprise the vibrant and productive commercial marine industry.
The Innovations Showcase Category, sponsored by SMI, winners were:
Vessel Design & Construction: Vessev for the VS9 Electric Foiling Vessel.
Marine Equipment & Electronics: Maritime Professional Development UK for the Harbour/VTS & RYA Radar cloud-based simulation.
Marine Power & Propulsion (Electrification & Future Fuels): Teignbridge Propellers for the Carbon Fibre Clamp on Blade Propeller.
Security & Safety: Viking Lifesaving Equipment, for the Cyclone YouSafe Immersion Suit, tailored specifically for women.
Environmental / Renewable Energy: Delta-Xero, for the nano-filtration of oils and fuels with built in water coalescer.
Spirit of Innovation (Overall Innovations winner): Loki Dynamics, for theRevolutionary VR headsets, the seasickness solution.
The Maritime Sustainability Award, sponsored by GreenPort, went to Cetasol – Intelligent speed and fuel gauge.
The Maritime Civils Best Project Award, sponsored by Maritime Contracts Journal, was awarded to Teignmouth Maritime Services for the Polperro outfall project.
The Subsea and underwater intervention award, sponsored by Maritime Journal, was awarded to Atlantis Marine Power for WUWLED.
The Young Person’s Development Award, sponsored by Svitzer, was awarded to Sara Kapdi from Carnival UK.
The Maritime Professional of the Year Award, sponsored by Haven-Knox Johnston, was awarded to Mehmet Belibagli from Volvo Penta.
The Outstanding Contribution Award went to Giles Barkley of Southampton Solent University.
The Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Mercator Media, was presented by Mercator Media’s CEO, Andrew Webster, and was awarded to both Frank Dixie from PSP Worldwide Logistics and Robin George from McMurdo Ltd.
