Exalto Decca Unveils New Straight Line Wiper at Seawork
The first preview of the Exalto Decca straight line wiper took place at Seawork. Sales and Marketing Manager Roy Age Tuv said that interest in this new innovation has already been high, with positive feedback from many of the skippers and vessel operators that have visited the stand during the show.
“This high-quality user feedback is invaluable to us in these final stages of the development of the vertical straight line wiper,” says Tuv. “It has highlighted practical considerations such as the position of the wiper in terms of the visuals required by crew when docking, for example, and also other key aspects including regarding the cyber security protocols required when integrating the wiper operations into the vessel’s central operating system.”
Prior to full market launch, Decca Wiper is pursuing the necessary approvals from leading classification societies, including Bureau Veritas and Lloyd's Register.
