Sections of a new CTV reach new heights as the 'Mayflower' receives her superstructure at Mainstay Marine Solutions.
Designed by Andy Page of Chartwell Marine, the vessel is the twentieth in the fleet and the fifth Chartwell Ambitious design for offshore energy support vessel operator Seacat Services. In build at Mainstay's Pembrokeshire UK shipyard, a 12m working height allowance below the hook saw the superstructure lifted smoothly into position.
The partnership between Mainstay Marine and Seacat Services to produce the 'Mayflower' was announced in June of last year. The 25.2m aluminium catamaran has the capacity to transport 24 industrial personnel to and from offshore wind assets at high speed and is set to operate on the Galloper Offshore Wind Farm for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.
