About the Speaker/Moderator

Mike Proudlove, FIIMS, is General Manager of Offshore Turbine Services Ltd, a crew transfer vessel operator and offshore logistics provider, based near Brixham and working across northern Europe.

Mike has been involved in the management of vessels in the renewables and marine civils sectors for ten years and has also worked as master of a CTV. Prior to working in vessel management Mike worked as a small craft surveyor for twelve years, first in the USA and later the UK and Europe. Mike has also lectured in surveying and marine engineering at MITEC School of Boatbuilding in Milford Haven. Mike is still active in surveyor training and education and is a non-executive director of the Marine Surveying Academy and was recently elected Deputy Vice President of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS).

Mike is a member of the management committee of the Workboat Association and co-chair of the Workboat Association Safety Forum.
