Bert de Ruiter has a wealth of experience in the maritime industry, spanning over 40 years. Since joining Acta in 2016, he has been instrumental in managing work boats and providing innovative solutions for various maritime projects. In 2023 Acta Work boats became part of the Jifmar Group, and Bert continued his role under the new ownership of the company. His extensive background includes involvement in offshore energy infrastructure, and both onshore and offshore roles. Bert's expertise with large Dynamically Positioned (DP) vessels and smaller DP-equipped work boats makes him valuable to the Jifmar Group.
His focus is primarily on the Baltic, North-Sea areas, and the Americas, and he is known for his out-of-the-box thinking in maritime services. Bert is also a member of the Workboat Association committee and is passionate about the maritime energy transition and new technology developments. In his self declared role as Boatfluencer he regularly posts on Linkedin.
