Shep is the Chief Technology Officer of XOCEAN.
He served 28 years as a commissioned officer with NOAA in the US, where he rose to the rank of Rear Admiral as the Director of the Office of Coast Survey, where he oversaw the US national programs in hydrography and nautical cartography.
