About the Speaker

Robert is a Policy Manager and leads on Technical Safety & Nautical Matters at the UK Chamber of Shipping, whilst also managing the running of the British Tugowners Association (BTA), as Secretary. Robert leads on the planning and consenting off offshore renewables for the Chamber protecting navigational safety and efficiency for commercial shipping.

Robert joined the UK Chamber in 2014 following five years in Dublin attaining a joint honour degree in Economics & Geography from Trinity College, Dublin, and working for the Irish Maritime Development Office as a Market & Research Analyst.

Robert is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS) and a keen sailor in his spare time, including RTI this coming weekend.
