About the Speaker
Starting with Windcat over 10 years ago Willem has been involved within all aspects of the Windcat business from the newbuilding of vessels, operational management as well as the chartering side as Windcat’s Business Development Manager for many years.
Windcat Workboats is Europe’s leading provider of specialist crew transfer vessels to the offshore wind power industry, oil and gas industry and other offshore projects.
Since 2019 Willem has taken the reins from the founders of the company as the current Managing Director of Windcat Workboats.
At the end of 2020 Windcat Workboats has been acquired by Compagnie Maritime Belge (our partner in developing the Hydrogen Dual Fuel CTV). Willem is highly involved in the designing, building and certification process of the vessel as well as the development of potential hydrogen infrastructures.
