About the Speaker

Martin graduated with a PhD in Marine Technology from Newcastle University before working as research associate in offshore engineering and mooring systems on offshore renewable energy projects including offshore floating wind and tidal stream turbine arrays. Martin has been the managing director of O.S.
Energy UK since 2020 focussing largely on green maritime technologies, from R&D projects to on-vessel demonstration in order to decarbonise the O.S. Energy vessel fleet. O.S. Energy currently works on several projects aiming to demonstrate retrofits of energy efficiency measures and hydrogen fuel technologies on their versatile offshore service vessels.
