Born and educated in Glasgow, John joined the civil service in early 2000s from a marketing background and has worked across a range of sectors including oil & gas, automotive and aerospace. For the last few years, John has been working to help the UK shipbuilding sector Internationalis as part of the National Shipbuilding Strategy.
