He joined Eminox in 1984 as a Development Engineer. During this time, he worked on the development of exhaust systems focusing on acoustics silencing in stainless-steel, providing long durability which led onto the pioneering of aftertreatment in the early 1990’s His work began with the introduction of diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC) and then Continuously Regenerating Trap (CRT®) diesel particulate filter systems for the Bus and Truck sector, leading onto the addition of SCR and the SCRT® and the application of the products. Early adopters such as Volvo, Scania and MAN quickly started to fit aftertreatment in advance of any on and off-road legislation, providing invaluable leaning to the on-set of mandatory exhaust aftertreatment systems by the OEMs during the last 6 years this has led to the marine sector. Over the last 39-years Brian has worked in all aspects of the business including technical innovation, product design, manufacturing and sales and is accredited with several patents.
