The Innovation Awards celebrate the ideas, projects, and technologies driving progress across the maritime industry. Covering categories from vessel design and subsea intervention to marine equipment, they recognise achievements that go beyond simple product improvements.

All entries are displayed on the Innovations Showcase, sponsored by the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI). This dedicated area at Seawork, gives businesses the chance to present their ideas to the industry. Entries must relate to equipment, services, vessels, or projects started since the last Seawork (10–12 June 2025) and must be truly innovative.

To enter and join the showcase, use the button below. Innovation category winners receive an Innovation Award, with the overall winner presented with the prestigious “Spirit of Innovation” trophy.

Entry for Seawork Exhibitors is free. Non-exhibitors can enter the innovations categories subject to an entry fee of £550.
