The session will focus on Aqua superPower’s evolving maritime charging infrastructure corridor along the south coast of the UK, and how this supports an accelerated transition to electric vessels. It will take an in-depth dive into the development of RAD’s electric drives and their integration into RS Electric vessels. Collectively the presentations will illustrate the opportunity these developments present for the workboat sector and how Innovate UK funding is enabling the World’s largest trial of electric workboats and charging infrastructure. The session will conclude with a panel discussion, offering views on the supply chain, challenges, collaboration and sector growth.
