Maritime UK Solent is formally launching this year's Awards at Seawork 2024. Network members and delegates are invited to hear previous winners describe the benefits and positive experiences that have come, beyond the simple prestige of being a winner.
We will also hear from Portsmouth Sail Training Trust, our current Charity of the Year, who will describe how being associated with Maritime UK Solent in the last year has furthered their work with supporting disadvantaged young people.
The formal opening for applications from Solent-based, maritime related charities will be made during the event, where they are invited to apply become Maritime UK Solent's Charity of the Year for 2024/2025. Charities are encouraged to go to the Maritime UK Solent website to apply - the closing date for applications is 16 July 2024.
The successful charity will have the opportunity to play a major part in the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2024, and will receive promotional support throughout the year.
