About
Join the MarRI-UK workshop to add your thoughts to shaping the UK National Maritime Roadmap together, on Clean Maritime and Floating Offshore Wind.
MarRI-UK aims to deliver the first version of the UK National Maritime Roadmap in 2025 with our members and partners. A national roadmap for the maritime sector provides a clear, strategic vision for long-term growth, innovation, and sustainability. It aligns stakeholders, including government, industry, and research institutions, ensuring coordinated efforts to address challenges, such as technological advancements, sustainability, and economic competitiveness. By guiding resource allocation, fostering collaboration, and preparing for crises, a national roadmap strengthens the sector’s resilience, improves national security, and enhances global competitiveness, ultimately driving economic growth and creating jobs.
This workshop will focus on two specific elements of the roadmap, Clean Maritime and the impact of Floating Offshore Wind. In this collaborative session we will be working to capture the core challenges and research priorities. If you would like to have your voice heard and see what we already have on the plot, join up today!
Limited capacity event - 20 maximum.
