This session will provide an overview of the recently launched National Shipbuilding Strategy Refresh – a new vision for the UK shipbuilding enterprise, details of the Ministry of Defence Boats Programme and the technical challenges, followed by a focus on the support for maritime exports through the recently formed Maritime Capability Campaign Office, covering civil and defence and finally the support available from UK Export Finance.
