Founded in 1954, Marine Travelift builds innovative boat handling equipment including the famous boat hoists. The first mobile boat hoist was designed and manufactured in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin USA where the company is still based.
Designed to safely and efficiently handle larger vessels such as tugs, ferries, superyachts, barges, commercial fishing boats, Marine Travelift C-Series Boat Hoists are capable of hauling vessels from 150 - 1,500 tons.
The 200-ton Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 9528, was launched after its Midlife Update and manoeuvred out of the shed in Rotterdam using a special Marine Travelift.
