Seawork supporter CILT - Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) has confirmed the appointment of Helen Hardy as its new Chief Executive Officer.
The news follows Helen’s successful seven-month period as Interim CEO, reflecting the strong leadership, stability and progress delivered during her interim tenure.
Following an extensive recruitment process, including engagement with an external recruitment agency, the CILT Board concluded that Helen’s impact in the role and her clear vision for the future made her the outstanding candidate.
Anna-Jane Hunter, Chair of the Board, said, “Helen has demonstrated clear leadership, strong delivery and a deep understanding of CILT (UK)’s role as the professional body for logistics, transport and supply chain. Her appointment provides continuity and confidence as we continue to strengthen our influence, support our members and champion the profession.”
During her time as Interim CEO, Helen has worked closely with members, volunteers and staff, ensuring organisational stability while maintaining momentum across the Institute’s strategic priorities.
Helen Hardy, Chief Executive Officer, added, “It has been a privilege to lead CILT (UK) over the past seven months, and I am delighted to be taking on the role of Chief Executive on a permanent basis. I am incredibly proud of the work of our team and excited about what we can achieve together.
