Family joins new generation

A structured design and build process, from concept to field operation, has enabled the addition of new models to the New Generation line of cranes.

Amco Veba Marine has added the 40tm family to its range including two Endless Slewing models; the 34tm VR34 NGM and the 40tm VR40 NGM.  The cranes are available with 2 up to 8 extensions, with a maximum outreach of 8.02 to 20.90 metres.

Protection from the challenging effects of the marine environment is achieved through the Multi Level Protection (MLP) programme with a choice of different protection levels dependent on where the crane is expected to operate. Denso tape protection and composite plastic covers protect delicate hydraulic components such as valve banks, gear motors, and swivel joints from the double effects of water ingress and UV light degradation.

Massimo Magli, Marine Division Sales Director, said, “We are proud to add this new range of 40tm cranes to our NEW GENERATION Line. Ensures high performance, maximum efficiency and high level of reliability, together with a wide range of innovative features and variety of accessories and attachments, make these cranes ideally suited for marine and offshore applications.”

The NEW GENERATION Line is produced in a new dedicated crane assembly line in Poviglio, Italy, developed according to the best-in-class manufacturing principles in terms of quality and efficiency.
