Join CMN at COP26
We are excited to announce that Session 2 of Get Set for Workboat 2050 will take place as a hybrid event – both online and in-person - on Wednesday 3rd November from 15:30 – 16:30 UTC at the COP26 International Maritime Hub, hosted by the City of Glasgow College in partnership with Maritime UK.
The Commercial Marine Network, in association with the Workboat Association, will centre Session 2 around Best of Decarbonisation - Showcasing industry success: How to reduce fleet emissions - Learning from real world implementation.

Ian Baylis, Founder of Seacat Services, will outline the steps they are taking as a business and a fleet operator to reduce emissions in line with their Carbon Management Plan commitments.
Bert de Ruiter, Commercial Manager Workboats at Acta Marine BV will cover their sustainability strategy and the different activities adopted across their vessel fleet to reduce their carbon footprint.
Dr Iain Percy OBE, CEO at Artemis Technologies will provide his insight on the new innovations being created for a greener future. Iain will discuss the state-of-the-art technology behind the company’s Artemis eFoilerTM and how this system is the key to creating high-speed zero-emission vessels.
