Less noise, fumes and costs

An efficient and reliable electric alternative to traditional small diesel engines is available from Energy Solutions, now offering the Waterworld range of electric engines.

Waterworld engines are already well established in the Netherlands with both fleet operators and private owners; the 48 Volt electric inboard motors are suitable for all inland waterway craft from day launches to narrowboats.

Energy Solutions says that moving to electric power is easier than many people think, as the electric engines are designed to be a direct replacement for a traditional diesel engine both in size and cost - perfect for boat builders and owners that are looking to reduce both noise and emissions. Norfolk UK-based builders Landamores is now offering the specification and benefits to their customers and incorporating the new engines into the company’s 2020 builds.

Each system in the Waterworld range includes a motor and controller as one unit on adjustable engine supports, plus thrust bearings, relay, a new style digital colour touch screen display and new style throttle. The expanded range now includes a 15kW model as well as 4, 7.5, 10kW systems.

Energy Solutions offers a complete system design service, ensuring the optimum system specification to fulfil client requirements.
