The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is seeking input from organisations across the UK maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS) sector, with its industry survey closing on 31 October 2026.
The MCA’s UK Maritime Innovation Hub is conducting the survey to better understand current industry activities and future plans, industry requirements and views on certification pathways, as well as the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.
Responses may inform future regulatory development, stakeholder engagement and policy considerations.
The MCA, a supporter of Seawork, is encouraging relevant organisations to share their views before the deadline.
The survey is available via UK MASS industry survey.
