New division fills the gap

A new trailer division has been launched by The Pontoon and Dock Company with the creation of PDMS Trailers and a new range of boat trailers for the UK market.

The Pontoon and Dock Company has worked with experienced partners to produce the new trailers with options to accommodate small dinghies to 11 metre vessels.  Trailer features include galvanised axles for a smooth ride, a high capacity winch and an enhanced roller system for ease of launching and recovery.

Stephen Blake from PDMS Trailers commented, ‘As winter sets in and people start to bring their boats out of the water or store them in their boatyards, we have been extremely pleased to have created such a fantastic range of trailers. Rather than swing beam rollers, PDMS Trailers have a tilting bed of rollers that provide the boat with support all the way along its length.’ He added, ‘The roller system is adjustable, and the forward and cross bars can be moved allowing the trailer to be set for a wide variety of boats.’

Other features include larger tyres and wheels, polyurethane moulded or steel mudguards that can take a person’s weight, stainless steel trailer boards and a plug socket on the back of the trailer board to ease the removal. Delivery is available right across the UK.
