On order for Brest and Roscoff

PIRIOU Group is to build a new harbour tug for the Société Coopérative des Lamaneurs of Brest and Roscoff.

La Société Coopérative des Lamaneurs has managed mooring operations in Brest harbour for over 50 years in and for more than 10 years in Roscoff harbour. The company also provides other services such as coastal towing for vessels or barges.

Built by PIRIOU Vietnam to a proven PIRIOU design and customised to meet customer requirements, the 16.5m and 15t bollard pull tug will be equipped with new generation IMO Tier III compliant engines.  Due for delivery in August of this year, her home port will be Concarneau, France.
