Panel confirmed for Business Briefings Session

The panel has been confirmed for the business briefings session being held by A-Plan Insurance, together with British Marine Insurance, Financial and Legal Services Association (BMIFLSA).

The interactive seminar will focus on some of the legal, financial and insurance issues that can be faced by workboat operators and those who provide services to them. There will be drinks and canapes available throughout the seminar.

The carefully selected panel will be considering the implications and ramifications arising out of a typical scenario, dealing with issues concerning contractual terms, insurance coverage, ship mortgages and health and safety.

Panel Chair is Sarah Allan, Partner at Thomas Cooper Law. Other members are Tristan Harwood, Barrister and Associate of Bartons Solicitors, advising on maritime law, Keith Lovett, Senior Marine Underwriter, MS Amlin advising on insurance and Ryan Baverstock, Shawbrook Bank, advising on finance.

The seminar will take place at 1400 in Conference Room 1, sponsored by British Marine, for drinks, canapes and the opportunity to problem solve without the usual associated cost. A drinks reception will follow at the British Marine Stand for networking with the delegates and panel members.
