Set to take place on 8 June 2026, one day ahead of the main Seawork 2026 exhibition, Speed@Seawork is unique in combining military and security requirements with civil and commercial activities.
Speed@Seawork offers a dedicated full day of live sea trials and networking tailored to operators and procurement specialists from the military, navy, border protection, coastguard, Search And Rescue, and commercial sectors. Delegates are able to experience and evaluate fast craft performance first-hand, compare technology suppliers side-by-side, and build critical partnerships across the defence and commercial maritime industries.
Vessels from Barrus, Berthon, Proteum, Vessel Arrest Systems, Viking Life-Saving Equipment, and Zodiac Milpro are already confirmed to attend in 2026, setting the pace for the event’s seventh edition.
2026 also sees the welcome return of key sponsors:
Chartwell Marine –pioneering naval architecture firm known for developing next-generation vessel designs that balance performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Their expertise underpins many commercial craft seen on the water today, particularly in offshore wind and security sectors.
Vessel Arrest Systems – global leader in maritime interdiction technology, providing cutting-edge, non-lethal solutions to stop and secure vessels quickly and safely. Their systems are vital for naval, coastguard, and law enforcement agencies operating in high-risk zones.
Mecal – industry-recognised classification society and consultancy supporting commercial vessels through expert technical compliance, certification, and safety standards. Mecal’s oversight ensures that innovation on the water meets the highest regulatory and operational benchmarks.
Hosted in partnership with SMI (Society of Maritime Industries) and key defence and maritime stakeholders, Speed@Seawork is a strictly pre-registered event for industry professionals, military delegates, and decision-makers in defence and security sectors.
