Izmir Shipyard
Established in 1996, Izmir Shipyard AÅž is a specialist builder of small to medium size HDPE and aluminium workboats, utility craft and patrol boats. The company is located on the NW of the Gulf of Izmir.
Its production focus is on the most environmentally friendly technologies possible, investing heavily in the ability to process thermoplastic HDPE materials which are 100% recyclable. It combines aluminium processing expertise with thermoplastic processing skills with proven results, having built more than 50 vessels on the seas around the globe. Projects have included patrol boats, RHIBs, small dredgers and barges.
Almar Shipbuilding
Tuzla-based Almar was established in June 2006 and is a builder of workboats, Pilot Boats, Tugboats, Mooring Boats, Modular Barges and other floating plant. It has significant capacity within its 23000sqm yard includes two 5300sqm production halls. Two environmentally friendly, enclosed and conditioned paint halls for shot blasting and painting with heat, moisture and dust control systems result in extremely durable finishes. It has significant open storage and convenient road access. Examples of current projects include - 11m Rubbish Collection Boat, 12m Tugboat, 14m barge, Line Handling Tug, 19m Pilot Boat and a 22mx12mx2.2m Self Propelled, Modular Dredger Barge.
