Berthon, a multi-discipline marine business providing products and services to the defence, commercial and private marine sectors worldwide, has welcomed its latest cohort of apprentices.
Embarking on their careers at Berthon are Marley Evans (shipwright), Tom Wischhusen (engineer), Max Barrow (shipwright), Ben Simmons (engineer), James Bentley (electrician), William Crane (engineer) and Oliver Drummond (engineer).
Berthon, based in Lymington UK, offers an ISO and JOSCAR accredited, state of the art, purpose built boatyard facility, and provides an experienced and knowledgeable project management team plus the skilled tradesmen required to undertake specialist vessel maintenance, repairs, upgrades, refits, retrofits and long-term contract in-service-support. The new apprentices will be learning from and working alongside this experienced team for the next four years.
