Around the clock maintenance and repair work is now available directly on site for Vulkan customers following the opening of a new service centre in Southampton UK.
VULKAN Industries Limited, the British VULKAN subsidiary, officially opened its new service location just before appearing at Seawork, with Global Director Sales/Marketing Robert Dückmann-van Riemsdijk doing the honours.
VULKAN UK has erected two containers with a total area of 32 square metres on the Williams Shipping site in Southampton UK, which contain two office workstations and a workshop. With the appointment of service engineer Mishak Mathews, who recently joined the VULKAN UK team, the new service location is permanently occupied.
"We want to continue VULKAN's excellent service and further expand the business in the UK. Therefore, it was important for us to be closer to our customers. With the opening of the new service center, we are able to be on site around the clock if needed," says Adrian Birkin, Managing Director of VULKAN Industries Limited. This follows the concept of VULKAN's Spanish subsidiary, which has also opened a service centre in Valencia on the coast.
"Time is the most critical element in all after-sales activities," he explains. The VULKAN service is up and running faster than if someone had to travel from the headquarters in West Yorkshire. As a qualified and strong partner, we support our customers here and offer all services from advice and installation assistance to troubleshooting and repairs."
