The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) is throwing open its doors as it hosts its Annual General Meeting of the Small Ships Special Interest Group at Seawork 2025.
IMarEST is committed to building a global community that advances the marine industry. The Institute says its meeting is open to all who have an interest in small ships, from industry professionals to maritime enthusiasts, even if they are not members of IMarEST.
“Seawork brings together maritime professionals, showcases new technologies, and fosters industry growth through knowledge exchange—aligning perfectly with IMarEST’s mission to support collaboration, professional development, and positive change in the marine industry.
“This makes it an ideal platform for our Small Ships Special Interest Group meeting, allowing us to engage a broader audience and drive progress in the small ships sector. Whether you are an existing member or simply curious to learn more, we welcome you to join us and connect with like-minded individuals.”
In addition to the AGM, the event will provide a platform for discussion on key challenges and opportunities within the sector, as well as valuable networking opportunities.
