Mainstay’s new owners to rise to the challenge
“The opportunity to develop a world-renowned marine engineering centre of excellence right here in Pembroke Port has never been greater,” says Charlotte Wood, Commercial Manager and a member of the new leadership team at Mainstay Marine Solutions.
“We are at a pivotal moment in history where clean energy, energy security, and political stability are at the forefront of everyone’s minds. As ever, we will rise to the challenge”.
The vessel builder and specialist marine engineering firm, based in Pembroke Dock in Wales UK, is banking on the new team’s fresh perspectives and substantial experience to guide the company into its next phase of growth and development
James Donald, Mainstay Marine Solutions’ new Managing Director, commented, “The company’s diverse business portfolio, culture, and professionalism were evident from the outset. As a new leadership team, we will continue to develop Mainstay’s strong foundations and enviable reputation for engineering excellence, whilst ensuring a first-class experience for our valued customers.
“I would like to sincerely thank Stewart Graves and the exiting shareholders for their support and trust during the transactional process. We are very much looking forward to the new era of Mainstay”.
The new leadership team will work closely with the previous Directors, who will remain within the business to share their extensive knowledge and help strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the marine engineering sector. While the team plans to expand the company’s reach into new markets, they remain committed to serving their valued existing client base.
Stewart Graves, former Managing Director commented, “We are delighted to have completed the transaction and secured Mainstay’s future. The new team is poised to lead Mainstay on an exciting journey to success”.
