Movax equipment is used for a variety of maritime focused projects, both on and by the water, such as flood protection, river bank protection, bridges, car ferry docks and cofferdams. Because of the variety of attachments available, there is a solution for every type of soil.
The innovative side grip will probably always be what Movax is best known for, but the company's product development department has built upon the success of the side grip since its launch and has introduced a wide range of piling equipment for excavators over the past 20 years. Their equipment offering now includes piling hammers, pre-auger drills, telescopic auger drills, manipulators and leaders.
Movax has also developed their Movax Control System (MCS) which gives greater efficiency, increased productivity and higher accuracy, as well as the Movax Information Management System (MIMS), which provides information about the piling process, the installation, the equipment, maintenance and remote diagnostics.
To support the existing market,and to allow for demonstrations to new customers, Watson & Hillhouse has added two Movax side grip pile drivers to the company's hire fleet – a SG-45V and SG-75V with a Hyundai excavator. Watson & Hillhouse will also be handling all spares, servicing and maintenance requirements on behalf of co-exhibitors, Movax.
