As we wrap up another incredible edition of Seawork, we’re delighted to share some of the key facts and figures that made this year’s event such a success.
Seawork 2025 set a new benchmark for the commercial marine industry, welcoming an outstanding 7,832 visitors and 454 exhibitors to Southampton to celebrate innovation, collaboration, and international business. With over 60 countries represented, including 36 from across Europe, Seawork proved once again to be the go-to meeting place for the global workboat and commercial marine community.
This year’s exhibition was packed with fresh energy, as 74 new businesses joined the show floor. Attendees were treated to 28 product launches and demonstrations, showcasing the cutting-edge technology shaping the sector’s future. Our Training & Careers events also saw huge interest, drawing over 300 students and apprentices eager to explore opportunities in maritime.
The conference programme broke records too, attracting its highest attendance ever with 1,723 registrants joining engaging sessions across the week. Networking was at the heart of Seawork, with 19 separate events, including the prestigious Seawork Awards, where 12 winners were recognised for their achievements.
The excitement extended online as well, with 215 meetings requested and 1,224 messages exchanged via seawork.com. Our brand-new AI chatbot was put through its paces, answering over 500 visitor questions during the event.
Speed@Seawork, the prime platform to showcase the capabilities of fast vessels serving in security operations, intervention, and search and rescue missions, continued its upward trajectory, hosting 157 delegates and showcasing 12 vessels in action.
On social media, our community helped create a buzz like never before, with milestone growth to 9,000 LinkedIn followers and fantastic engagement across Instagram and LinkedIn. This success is reflected in record rebookings, with 50% of exhibitors already securing their space for 2026. And with 4,830 app downloads, Seawork 2025 has connected more people and businesses than ever.
