With six months to go it’s time to mark the date for a full day of fast vessel sea trials, equipment demonstrations and high-level networking at Speed@Seawork on 8 June 2026 in Cowes IOW.
Held the day before the Seawork exhibition, Speed@Seawork concentrates on the security, SAR, and blue light sectors with an international field of delegates attending from military procurement, border enforcement, harbour control, and associated organisations.
The day starts with breakfast onboard, sponsored by Chartwell Marine, as Speed@Seawork travels from Southampton to the Isle of Wight accompanied by presentations from National Shipbuilding Office (NSO), Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) and exhibitors as their vessels demonstrate their capabilities afloat on the way into Cowes.
Speed@Seawork’s base for the day is the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) Cowes with vessel trials taking place from the adjacent Trinity Landing and equipment on display and demonstrated in the clubhouse itself. Shoreside highlights see presentations over lunch, sponsored by Vessel Arrest Systems, including the UK MOD Small Boats Team as Pete Lagden and his colleagues spotlight trends, developments and opportunities in the sector.
Speed@Seawork is a unique opportunity for attendees to get onboard a range of sector-specific vessels as they’re put through their paces in the varied sea states and unlimited waters off Cowes, and talk direct to exhibitors showcasing specialist equipment. The day ends with drinks, sponsored by Mecal, and final networking with Speed@Seawork’s exclusive audience of delegates and speakers.
Speed@Seawork 2026 is held in association with SMI. Vessels and equipment registered as at 30 Nov on show from Viking Lifesaving Equipment, Zodiac Milpro, Berthon, Proteum, Barrus, and CGI. With thanks to our sponsors Chartwell Marine, Vessel Arrest Systems, and Mecal.
