Speed@Seawork returns to Cowes, Isle of Wight, on 8 June 2026, bringing together defence, security and commercial maritime professionals for a focused, high-energy day on the water.
More than 15 advanced vessels are already confirmed for this seventh edition, which builds on the success of previous years with even more live sea trials, dockside demonstrations and valuable face-to-face time between suppliers and operational end users.
Headline sponsors Chartwell Marine, Vessel Arrest Systems and Mecal are back for 2026, underlining the event’s growing reputation as a key meeting point for collaboration, capability and practical innovation across the sector.
The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) Cowes clubhouse will once again serve as the shoreside hub, with on-water demonstrations running from Trinity Landing. Throughout the day, delegates can experience vessels in action and explore the latest maritime technology and equipment showcased within the historic clubhouse setting.
Confirmed participants include the National Shipbuilding Office (NSO), Royal Navy, MOD Small Boats Team, Damen, Zodiac Milpro, Berthon, Barrus, Proteum and the Metropolitan Police Marine Unit. Highlights of the programme include an NSO breakfast briefing sponsored by Chartwell Marine, a security and operational preparedness lunch hosted by Vessel Arrest Systems, and a presentation from the MOD Small Boats Team led by Pete Lagden. The day will wrap up with networking drinks, courtesy of Mecal.
With defence, search and rescue, and border security firmly in focus, Speed@Seawork 2026 continues to provide a practical forum where operational challenges are met with real-world maritime solutions.
