Buoyant Works has unveiled FlexLanding, an innovative new design that replaces traditional steel boat landing ladder systems for CSOVs and offshore wind turbines.
FlexLanding is available in two configurations—one for emergency crew access and one for cargo mooring.
The crew access version incorporates integrated ladder steps, allowing safe and efficient transfer from CTVs or daughter craft during offshore wind turbine maintenance, as well as boarding CSOVs.
For cargo operations, FlexLanding can be configured as a CSOV cargo mooring system. In this version, the steps are removed to enable cargo to be lifted to and from the vessel, while maximising grip between the CTV or daughter craft and the landing structure.
Manufactured using high-performance polyurethane, FlexLanding is a fully modular system made using eco-friendly materials and built for long service life in harsh marine environments. The robust design combines durability with sustainability. Should the need arise, individual sections can be replaced as needed, eliminating the cost and downtime associated with replacing an entire structure.
Reduced maintenance requirements mean fewer offshore interventions, helping to lower vessel operations and reduce fuel consumption.
