British Superyacht has announced a major new partnership with Seawork, Europe’s largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition. This collaboration brings the superyacht sector firmly into the Seawork 2026 programme, creating unprecedented opportunities for cross-sector innovation and business.
The new initiatives support British Superyacht’s objective of 'Bringing together the globally renowned quality and excellence of the superyacht industry around the British Isles' and its strap line, ‘Stronger Together in Leading the Industry’. They include the official addition of the 'British Superyacht Tech Talk' to the Seawork conference schedule, the introduction of a new Superyacht category in the prestigious Seawork Innovation Awards, and the launch of the ‘Superyacht Connect’ programme.
The 'British Superyacht Tech Talk' is an official, dedicated feature of the Seawork conference programme, The move marks a strategic step to bridge the commercial and superyacht marine sectors, highlighting a shared focus on cutting-edge marine technology, advanced engineering, and sustainable solutions. The British Superyacht Tech Talk will provide a specialised platform for debate and knowledge sharing, with sessions focussed on innovation in new build, refit, and large yacht maintenance.

In a move to celebrate and formally recognise the unique technological advancements and excellence within the high-end marine sector, Seawork is introducing a new dedicated 'Superyacht' category to its renowned Seawork Innovation Awards.
The new award category will focus on exceptional innovation in products or services from exhibitors, specifically designed or adapted for the superyacht sector, celebrating everything from bespoke engineering and interior technology to advanced propulsion and environmental solutions.
Seawork 2026 will also see the launch of Superyacht Connect. This new joint British Superyacht & Seawork initiative is designed to identify and promote commercial marine exhibitors whose products and services offer a natural and viable crossover into the superyacht sector.
