SVENNER is a next-generation solid-state tech marine battery, fully DNV type-approved, delivering unmatched safety, long lifecycle and simplified integration for electric and hybrid vessels.

EPTechnologies has introduced SVENNER, a next-generation solid-state tech marine battery now fully DNV type-approved (NR TAE000054J). The battery delivers a major step forward in safety, performance and lifecycle for marine electrification.

Using advanced solid-state tech, SVENNER withstands 6× overcharge and 8 mm nail penetration without thermal reaction, while achieving 10,000+ cycles. A dual-core lockstep BMS, HV interlock and water-leak detection ensure continuous monitoring and module-level protection.

Certified under DNV Design Option 1, SVENNER prevents propagation and eliminates the need for module gas ducting, simplifying installation and reducing integration complexity.

Designed for ferries, workboats, yachts and hybrid systems, the battery offers a ready-for-class solution that lowers risk, improves safety and reduces total cost of ownership.
