GRP Solutions Ltd has announced its acquisition of Glasgow-based Allscot Distributors Ltd, the sole stockists of glass fibre materials and all related sundry products in Scotland, UK. The Allscot business is one of the UK's oldest distribution businesses and operates from a 15,000 sq. ft facility, including offices and a successful trade counter.
The recent acquisition enables the company to be closer to its customers in Scotland and the North of England and nearly doubles GRP Solutions’ warehouse capacity, paramount as the portfolio of products that GRP Solutions and Allscot offer will also widen. The more local presence will also enable reductions in carbon emission in road freight, helping towards a more sustainable future.
